Programs That Keep Pets & People Together

The Pet Rescue Pantry

No family should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pet.

Our pantry distributes free dog and cat food, litter, and basic supplies to any family experiencing hardship — no paperwork, no judgment. Last year we kept an estimated 340 pets in their homes and out of the shelter system.

  • Distribution days on the last Saturday of every month
  • Emergency food assistance available weekdays at the front desk
  • Drop-off shelves at partner churches in Klein, Tomball, and Humble
  • Donations of unopened food accepted during all open hours

Enrichment

Happy Minds, Healthy Animals

A shelter stay should never mean boredom. Enrichment keeps our animals relaxed, well-adjusted, and ready to shine for adopters.

Doggy Playgroups

Daily supervised playgroups let dogs burn energy and practice social skills. Volunteers rotate every dog through the play yards at least once a day.

Cat Enrichment Carts

Puzzle feeders, catnip bubbles, and bird-watching windows — our feline enrichment team designs a fresh activity menu every week.

Shelter School

Staff trainers teach long-stay dogs basic manners — sit, leash skills, crate comfort — so they walk out the door ready for home life.
